Lizzy Schecter’s Bat Mitzvah Beth Or & Meadowlands Country Club

September 14th, 2012

It all started on September 8, 2012 at 7:30 in the morning at Congregation Beth Or when the Schecter family began their first photo session with Hy Paul Studio.  Lizzy looked amazing and was beaming.  Shortly after taking photos on the bema the family went outside for some fun casual photos. The weather was a little humid so we made sure to come in quickly before anybody’s hair got messed up.

Before you knew it was 9:00 am and time for the service to begin.  Lizzy led the congregation in prayer and did so beautifully as she chanted her  Haftorah and read from the Torah.  The service ended with family and friends breaking bread and enjoying kiddish luncheon.

Moving forward to 5:00 pm at Meadowlands Country Club, the evening formals with Hy Paul Studio began.  The weather outside might not have looked all that great, but inside the Schecter family looked phenomenal.  Everbody was dressed in their beautiful formal wear of which Lizzy was decked out in a gorgeous purple dress. The décor in the room was unbelievable.  Lizzy decided on a carnival theme which Hot Hot Hot designed in pink and purple.  There was a carnival stilt walker who spun plates and ate fire.  The carnival theme was even followed with the food that was served at Meadowland Country Club such as stations with gourmet pizza, hot dogs, and tacos.

After the candle lighting and hora, the dance floor was popping all night long.  Games were being played for Lizzy and her friends and they didn’t sit down all night, thanks to Ian from Hot Hot Hot.

After indulging in the unbelievable array of desserts displayed by Meadowlands Country Club it was nearing 12:00 and time to say goodbye to family and friends.  All of us at Hy Paul Studio thank you for having us be a part of your fabulous affair.
