Lexi’s Bat Mitzvah October 6, 2012
October 19th, 2012
It was Saturday Afternoon around 2:30pm Lexi’s photo session began at Kol Emet with her dressed in a gorgeous sequined dress. It was a beautiful afternoon so Hy Paul Studio began the Albuck’s photo session with the immediate family outside the synagogue. The extended family arrived and Lexi changed into a black lacy dress to do the remaining family photos before taking pictures on the bema. Lexi did a great job chanting her torah portion as her parents looked on and family looked on with pride. The special words that were said by both mom & dad and also Lexi’s aunt were also warm and touching I think It cause everyone to shed a tear.
The bus arrived at Beat Street was the place where the party started. The cocktail hour began with delicious hor dourves and dancing and was followed by the family being announced into the room. It was a family affair with Lexi’s cousin Dylan the DJ. You can tell cupcakes must be one of Lexi’s favorite things, because the beautifully decorated cupcakes served as the bat mitzvah cake where family and friends were honored to light the candles. After blowing out the candles the hora began. Everyone was up on the floor and Lexi was lifted high above the crowd as friends and family danced around her.
More dancing and partying continued through the evening. Hats, rabbit ears, glasses, and different party favors were passed out to the guests as they continued to party. Cupcakes, fruit, and other sweets were displayed as the party was coming to a close, but not before everybody gathered around Lexi as she hugged and thanked her guests. Shirts to remember the party for all of the children who attended as they left for the evening.
Thanks to the Albucks for letting us become a part of their family. It was a pleasure to work with all of you.
