Jon & Jennifer’s Wedding August 10, 2013
August 21st, 2013
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon on August 10th 2013 when Jennifer and Jon prepared to exchange vows and express their unconditional love for one another. This lovely Saturday afternoon started at Jennifer’s mother’s house where Jennifer spent the early afternoon dressing and getting all of her bridesmaids ready for her special day. As the
time came close to 2 o’clock, Jennifer and all her girls headed out to the limo to get on their way to Scottland Run Country Club. When the limo arrived, Jennifer’s soon to be husband was waiting for her. When the two saw each other for the first time they both had tears in their eyes and they gave each other a hug and kiss and expressed how excited they were for the events to follow. Once everyone was settled in it was time for a small portrait session with Hy Paul Studio. After the portrait session all the guests then headed outside for the ceremony, as they were ready to watch Jon and Jennifer exchange vows on their big day. As the ceremony came to a close, the vows were exchanged, the “I do’s” were said, and the new bride and
groom shared their first kiss as a married couple. They walked back down the aisle as they were ready to party on this amazing day. After
the ceremony all the guests then headed to the main party room at Scottland Run where they were greeted with elegant flower decorations as well as really neat cake toppers. As everyone settled in, all the guests then mingled with one another as they shared and enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour. The cocktail hour drew to an end and everyone began to take their seats in the ballroom, as it was time to bring the parents and bridal party, and bride and groom into the room. The room then got silent, as they knew Mr. and Mrs. Alexander were being announced into the room for the first time as a married couple. When their name was called everyone then cheered as they entered the room and got ready to take
each other hand in hand as they shared their first dance to Al Green’s “Lets Stay Together”. When the song came to an end everyone then took their seats as they listened to some very meaningful toasts from the best man and maid of honor. Once the two completed their toasts everyone then remained seated as they enjoyed a delicious dinner. Dinner was over and
everyone was invited to the dance floor to celebrate with Jon and Jennifer. After some celebration Jon and Jennifer then had their cake cutting. The two then cut a piece of cake and playfully fed it to each other. After the cake cutting while everyone was having some fun and dancing a buffet of scrumptious desserts were brought out for everyone to enjoy.
As the evening drew to a close the music then slowed down as everyone then shared one last slow dance with that special someone. Jon and Jennifer then went around the dance floor and said their goodbyes to everyone as the evening came to a close. We want to thank Jon and Jennifer for letting Hy Paul Studio be apart of your special day.
